Great news flash TD fans... I have just completed a deal with the Candystand.com gaming site to exclusively host and develop the flash Circle TD game on their site (www.candystand.com)
What this means for me:
I get to work with a team of testers / graphic artists / programmers to make this game amazing!
What this means for you:
The game will be at a level of quality I would be unable to do on my own in any time frame and the game will be hosted on faster servers. The feedback I have had from the testers has helped make the game more fun to play and there is already ideas for new towers which I would never have thought of on my own. All the graphics are been hand drawn from scratch by a very talented team.
To let you know what I mean by "level of quality" here is a screen shot of the work in progress so far (actual size)
What will not happen:
I can already here some of the questions you may have, so here are some preemptive answers. The flash element TD will not die, expect some updates and new creep waves soon after the launch of the Circle TD. And the essence of the game will remain unchanged since Candystand loves this game for what it is and the last thing they would want to do is change it. I am still in full control of the programming and the direction the game is going.
I will keep you posted with updates and a release date as and when I get it, until then, here is a couple of more screenshots:
And a YouTube video, which already is not the latest as it has the older towers, but it has the new interface and maps:
